Account Manager

Purpose of the Job

Ensuring that the organization attains and grows market share by meeting its strategic, revenue and profitability objectives through delivering the appropriate product mix to the defined target market.

Specific duties

  • Meeting sales, revenue and profit targets as set
  • Customer acquisition
  • Account management
  • Preparation of proposals and presentations


  • Matric certificate
  • A 3-year degree/diploma in Commerce, Business Management or Marketing


  • Minimum 5 years selling experience, with at least 3 in the ICT sector
  • Exposure to B2B sales processes.
  • Broad understanding of cybersecurity
  • Knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing principles

Other requirements/competences

  • An ability to prioritise, plan and organise work whilst in a busy environment
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Creativity, innovation and result orientation
  • Self-starter with ability to work in teams
  • Computer literacy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
